A big thank you for saving us from our crashed helicopter on the 23rd August,very professional ,quick, outstanding . No words cant describe how i felt when i seen the coastguard helicopter coming to save us. And once again thank you to all who saved us from the north sea.

Worked alongside them when I was with HIFRS in Shetland.Very professional and extremely efficient in everything they are tasked with.Helping to make the sea's around our coast safer for everyone great men and women.Cannot do without them keep up the good work.

Congratulations on 25 years service, without your team in Shetland I might not be here, you came to our aid when our fishing boat was sinking in the North Sea, the winchman delivered a pump that saved the vessel and probably our lives, without the Coastguard, many lives would be lost, I thank you for this Brian Gillies

a lot of the rescues carried out by shetland coastguard depend onm local knowledge, this is knowledge which aberdeen do not have. keep our station open lets help save lives
